Joe “Pete” Jones, 57, of Heavener, OK passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 in Ft.
Smith, AR. Pete was born October 30,
1957 in Poteau, OK.
He worked on for OK Feed.
Survivors
include his daughter, Jordan & Matt Jones of Keota, OK; granddaughters,
Jaxi and Jillian; mother of his child, Darla Brown of Spiro, OK; sister & brother in law, Deborah & Tommy
Mead of Heavener; brothers and sister in law, Tommy & Judy Jones, Gary
“Frog” Jones; 8 nieces, 6 nephews; other relatives, loved ones and friends.
Services
will be 2 pm, Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Oakland Cemetery Pavilion, Poteau, OK
with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial
will follow.
In
lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray
the cost of the service.

I am very sorry for your loss. It can be hard for friends and family to find the right words to say. Thankfully, we can echo the comforting thoughts we read in the Bible. At Revelation 21:4 it tells us that the God of all comfort will soon do away with all suffering, sickneas, tears, and death. Along with the promise we read at John 5: 28, 29 we have a solid hope for the future. Until then may your loving memories bring you relief during this difficult time. Your family has my sincerest condolences.
